Fresh From the Farm
The buy-local movement is big, and Danville and Boyle County offer plenty of places to find locally grown foods. The Boyle County Farmers Market takes place each Saturday through the summer at the Boyle County Fairgrounds in Danville , and the seasonal Heart of Danville Farmers Market can be found on Main Street past the post office. Rolling Fork Farm in nearby Forkland is a certified organic fruit and vegetable farm that sells its produce to local stores and restaurants – and to individuals through the Rolling Fork Farm Organic CSA and the Boyle County Farmers Market. The family-owned Chateaux du Vieux Corbeau Winery sells award-winning wine made onsite at Old Crow Inn in Danville.
